ot. Does anybody have a Bobcat Toolcat?

Thinking of buying a Bobcat toolcat 5610. Looks good and was thinking would do job of small tractor and skidloader. Anybody have one that can tell me the pros and cons?

Is that their utility vehicle with the lift on the front? The County here has several of those that they use to maintain the area outside the courthouse.Looked pretty handy to me , but I've never used one.

I am thinking of buying a 5610 and was hoping someone on here would have used one to let me know how handy they are. Thanks for getting back.

Nephew has one and likes it for moving snow. His has cab with air and heater' The only thing wrong that I can see is; if you fill the front bucket with material how do you get it to the box in the back of the machine? You can't I guess.

Michigan Tech University uses a few of them to remove most of the snow on campus (200+ inches a season). They use power brooms on the front to clear lite fluffy snow, plows to clear sidewalks fast, and then blowers to push the banks back. When the toolcats can't move the snow they break out road graders and oshkosh trucks.

They also use them to move leaves and run materials around the campus. A buddy of mine is a mechanic for the university and he says they have had very few problems with them other than abuse from plowing and normal maintenance.

Yeah the 5610 also has a 3 point and pto and 2 sets of rear hydralics. Just think it would be a really handy machine. they priced a new one to me today for 45000.00 Kinda spendy but my asv 100 skidloader was over 60 so guess thats what ya gotta pay. I was thinking of putting finish mower on front and replacing lawn mower also. Wife could ride in AC cab and have radio to listen to. Was thinking I could replace small tractor with it also.
