Vintage Tractor Shows

Hi Guys, thinking of coming to USA from New Zealand to visit a vintage tractor and/or swap meet, what is the best one to go to?

What time of the year are you coming? What part of the states are you visiting?

Around Iowa there is a swapmeet in Lesuer Minnesota the last weekend in April, One on Memorial day weekend in Mount Pleasant and one the weekend after in Waukee just west of Des Moines.

As to shows in the upper midwest after about the middle of July to Middle of September there is one just about every weekend. Some big some small. If you want to see one of the real big shows Labor day weekend is the time to come. I would suggest Rollag, MN or Mount Pleasant, IA.

If your travel plans are more in the south Winter is the time to come.

There are show guides available also.

Come visit the Flywheelers at Walloon Michigan on July 22 to 24 and you can be a guest of honor. We will let you lead the Parade of Power each day while driving the 1952 MM ZA that I gave the Club in my late wife's name.

The Hart Parr Oliver Collectors Association will be hosting it's National Summer Expo at McMillan Park in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa June 24-27. They are celebrating 75 years of six cylinder power. The Hart Parr Oliver 70 and the 1800 A series are the featured tractors. There will be several hundred Oliver tractors and implements on display from all over the country. Come join them!

The Rollag show is held Labor Day weekend; however, our Dalton Threshermen's show is the following weekend (Sept 10-11-12, 2010) and is just as good (IMHO).
