OT: Hotmail Problem

Yesterday, I discovered that I could not send or reply to hotmail messages. Attempting to do so resulted in the following message after a lengthly delay:

"There was a problem with the Windows Live Hotmail service (a temporary network connectivity issue that has nothing to do with your computer). Please try again."

Otherwise hotmail seems to work as intended. I can receive, open and read messages and navigate folders, etc.

I did notice that messages that I attempted to send yesterday were sent overnight.

Today the problem appears to be intermittent.

Anyone seen this before? Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

It happens from time to time, but usually does not last more than a few minutes. My Hotmail is working just fine. As with all things electronic and computer related, there is and will be glitches.

I don't use Hotmail anymore, but I used to be able to bypass the Yahoo homepage and just go to yahoo.com/r/m2 and go directly to the mail sign in. It doesn't work anymore. Hasn't for a week or more. I have to go to yahoo homepage and follow the links.

Thanks. That worked. Makes a big difference with dialup if you can skip the homepage and go right to it.

I just hit the 'send' button again immediately & it always goes thru then. Don't know why it wants to play that game.
