who made this 3-pt?

hello everyone, i recently bought a 3-pt for my M, it has dual cross cylinders on it which was worth the price alone. The 3-pt is very heavy built and definitly isn"t home made. There"s just no way someone could fab up a lot of this stuff. I know people"s good but this was from a manufacturer. Just can"t find out who made it or a tag or anything. Letters CW cast into a few of the parts. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! - Ted

The only CW company I know of is in Kansas and they build enormous grinders for grinding up just about anything. Tree trunks, refuse, etc. Did the people you bought the hitch from know anything about them? Boy, that appears to be one solid three point hitch. They're very hard to find for old Farmalls and difficult to make. I'd sure hang onto that one.

Nope he didn't know much about it. He took it off a Super M and sold the tractor to a puller guy. Said it was settin in his yard a couple years and his wife told him to sell all his "junk" ha ha. He said it heavy built so i had to check it out. Worth 250 to me, Took me and my brother to throw it in the truck. Just wanna know where this darned thing came from...appreciate everything guys

Kind looks like it could have been made by the Paul Abbot Co in Ark. I have a 3pt. to Fast Hitch adapter that they made at the farm that has their address on it. Will get the address later today and post it. I would love to see pictures of that hitch when you mount it on the tractor. Armand

I have a 53 Super M that has an Abbott 3 point hitch on it and some of the adjusting links, arms etc. look very similar to mine. I dont know how much equipment Abbott manufactured for the farmalls but I know that they made it heavy duty. Wish I knew more about the company.

All the Speeco stuff I've seen is yellow, including the 3 point for a JD B I got some years back.
