Chevrolet Commercal

I finally saw the Chevrolet commercal where the pick up rolls the tractor over. It is an Allis "C" with a pair of plows mounted on it.
I like the idea of an Agco commercal with a tractor crushing an old Corvette in retaliation!

All I see in the commercial is the tractor being pulled to it's tires from where it was lying on it's side!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant understand where anyone can get the idea that the Chevy is wrecking the Allis. Like you, all I see is a chevy putting it back on its feet

If you go back to the history of AC, you will find that a commie infested union struck them in the 40's, and now the same union owns GM. Co inky dink?

Anybody remember the Dodge commercial from the late 1970's where they have the pickup hooked to a Deere 6 bottom trailer plow pulling it down the field?

Last chev I owned was a 1979 pick up, b een a ford man ever since, but for the life of me I cannot see anything in that comercial that anyone
should get all bent out of shape over. Long about i959 I was building my firs hous and had a wd45 narrow front end with a freeman loader.
Tractor spun up on an old imbeder rock afliped me off and tractor on it,s side. Not wanting my future daddy in-law to see his pride and joy on
its side I grabed my pickup and roled it back up
in quick fashion. Tractor ran for years and to my knowledge he never knew..Point is commercial was or is perfectly normal..My 2 cents worth

Yes, I remember that commercial. It ran in several farm magazines also, but I think the plow was a 4 bottom, not a 6 bottom, which is still impressive.

Not a plow. It's a cultivator. What you can see the most is the rear gang. Watch it enough times and you'll see a flash of part of the front gang too.

I thought it was a Chevy. Well, we have all the bases covered! Regardless of which truck, I thought it was neat commercial at the time.

Anybody got a Farm Journal or Successful Farming magazine from the late 1970's to check this out? Used to be my parents hung on to tons of old magazines but cleaned them out a couple years ago.
