term problems. But, they must be doing something
right for the most part. Their currency is
strenthening on the world market. And, I heard
they have no national debt.

They actually have bought some of the debt bonds from the US so they are lending us money.

Astonishingly, the article fails to mention the overwhelming cost advantage (exclusive of artificial and unstainable subsidies) of Brazilian cane based ethanol vis a vis US corn derived ethanol - three cane crops per year in equatorial Brazil.
