Well I shoot one or at one again last night around midnight. I took off fast again but hey I didn't lock my self out this time LOL. Guess when I take my moms mail to her I'm going to pick up the live trap and bait it with bread that has vanilla extract poured on it. No I;m not going to buy donuts just for a coon LOL. Then when/if I catch one or 2 or 3 I will relocate them. Biggest problem will be figuring out where to set the trap

Whatever you do, do NOT bait the trap with donuts, you might catch a cop instead.

I broke an egg in my trap and caught 3 coons. It took 3 eggs, but 2 coons took dirt naps and one was used for training.

Golden Marlin is about 1/4 the cost of a trap, just doesn't make sence to me??

Big problem is any poison I would try to use would be a problem for either my dogs or cats. Plus we have owned a trap now for about a decade and even if I did not own one I can go to the conservation dept and they will let you use on of there for free for about a month

That is like if I did not park my cars where I do I would use a 20 or 12 gauge shot gun to shoot at them but I do not want to put holes in my cars/trucks so the 44mag is the only way to go

Ah but the part of the story you do not know about is the 3 opossums that never did make it off my porch under there own power. Yep I have in fact shoot 3 opossums with that 44mag and they did not make it far. But it does seem that coons are a tad bit smarter then opossums are since they the coons seem to run as soon as the door opens and the opossums just stand there for a few seconds so you have time to take a shot

RELOCATE??? I got some friends that need RELOCATED coons. "Course you could send them and their possum friends to Washington DC.

You know coyotes and horses do not mix well and it is not often I ever see one and when I do it is out about 400-500 yards. Now late at night I here them a lot but then one of my dogs goes out and says to them hey this is my turf stay away. LOL. Oh bu the way it is 3 opossums down 1 not sure what happened to it

Send them to DC what and get some real brains in the white house. LOL. I know racoons and opossums could not do worse then what we have shoot they would probably do better then what we have in there right now
