1948 Cockshutt 30

The tractor I found does have PTO and wide frontend. It looks like the one you are pulling with except for yours looks great. this one has goood rear tires and fair front tires. He is asking 2600. says he has more than that in it. What do you think?

I tried to sell this one for what I had in it,
$2500 new tires rebuilt engine new clutch new brakes new paint and more. Finally got $2000 out
of it. It too,was a great puller.

I think I gave $2250.00 for mine about 4 years ago.It was pretty much all original. We have spent close to that much more on the restoration, but we bought 4 new tires.I'd say that is a decent price for it. One thing about these old tractors , they aren't making any more of them,I personally think they are a good investment.I have a few more.

don't know where you guys are but I have one fair rear tires complete but rough I would sell for a lot less to get shed room Southern Indiana

Appearently a lot of people doesn't have a clue what it costs to restore a tractor today. You can easily put 5 to 10 thousand and even more on a restoration. Personally I'd rather put $4000.00 in a decent tractor and spend a couple of thousand on it than I would to put $1000.00 in one and have to spend 6 or 7 thousand on it to get it like I want it. There is a big difference between a barn fresh tractor and one that has been totally restored.
