Well I either educated 2 coons tonight or I educated one coon twice.
Around 7:30 I was on the phone with Keith way out west when I saw a coon on the pouch and tried to shoot him but was not sure I hit it with the 44mag with shot shells. Then around 9:10 I was on the phone with my mom and saw another coon on the pouch and shoot him. This 2nd one I'm pretty sure I got since he did a funny sort of dance and ran like $#$% up the drive way. So was it one or 2 of them. I would not think a coon would be dumb enough to come back twice in one night when it knew it got shoot at the time before. So what do you guys think. 1 or 2
 

I think either the government trained them and sent them to check up on you, or they are just disrespecting you. Un-American little b@stards............
 
chances are if it was the same coon...you missed first time...i had a real bold coon one nite...shot at him on the run 3 times after midnite...third time he didnt come back...found him gutshot in backyard next mornin.

Are those 44-shot shells anyway near as loud as regular bullets.Do you put in ear plugs?Im nearly deaf in left ear from huntin with 44s.Always wore plugs when practicing but not huntin.

Maybe he figured with your aim he would have another chance!
 
Yep there loud and yep it hurts the ear when I shoot that gun and no ear plugs. I have that tendinitis (sp) already plus have a good bit of hearing loose from years of being around loud stuff which started by being in the navy. I also reload my own 44mag rounds for deer hunting
 
It is a shot shell made for the 44mag it has a load of BB #8 shot. It works real good at close range and the shots I have been making are less then 10 feet
 

Ha OLD, larry@stinescorner will come and help you shoot that coon and he might even cook it, you guys can tell the rest of us what it taste like.

For that matter, so is "tendinitis". Spelled right, wrong word, that is. I think you were lookin' for "tinnitus". I don't know about you, but I think I got both!
 
coon is very good if cooked right. Cook the thing in a crock pot. The meat will fall off the bone when done. Then make BBQ with it just like a pulled pork BBQ.
 
Ya probably right on both counts I know your right on one count since I have a 10% disability from the V.A. for the ringing in the ears thing. As for the other that is a maybe since I do have problems with my knees and my shoulder and right arm
