IH Fast Hitch Sway Blocks

Hey Guys,

Got the snow blower hooked up, 3 point/fast hitch adjusted... one more question.

Is there a way to put sway blocks on an IH 330 utility??

I have a lot of side swing.

Thanks,

there are pins you reposition to control motion . do you have a owners manual ? for left to right there is linkage connecting the yoke ( has the sockets for fast hitch accessories ) and the rotating member . in this link there are holes for pins to lock out left to right motion .

The pins are all set so it's ridgid. There is still quite a bit of movement. I just wondered if there is anyplace to put a block. I don't see holes, but I thought maybe I was missing something.

if you have the pin in the correct hole there should be no horizonal movement . well maybe 1 " or so . the pin needs to be in the correct hole in the vetical link so it doesn't pivot in the middle . go to the farmal/ international forum on this site maybe someone can post a picture . i didn't know about this feature until i got a operator's manual

If the pin is loose in the holes, a correct size bolt and nut tightened to clamp th components will help radically. Drilling worn holes to oversize, then using a shanked bolt at that size with nut will prevent that action. (not good for normal implements. Jim
