Where the heck can I get one of these brand new? I can't find them online any place. I want to use it to build a quick hitch for hay wagons.

Your picture doesn't diplay for me. I'll try this, see if it shows up this way.

Nope, doesn't seem to work my way either. I had to go to the properties of the red x box in your message, and then paste into browser, & then see it. I've had troubles with pics on this site the past couple years.

I've been wondering too if those are made any more, the 2 jaws with a pull rope to disconnect wagons. Perhaps liability laws put an end to that style? Any manufaturer name to go with it?

Can you post it through this site (do the upload photo option)? Sounds like I know what you are talking about.

Now it shows up for me - after I got it to display once.....

I've had random picture issues with this site. Probably not you. :)

I think I know what you want. Go to JD parts and go to 300 corn husker they have an automatic hitch Part# AE20653. HOLD UNTO YOUR WALLET $272.95.

Your image url needs to end with jpg. If you right click that red X, then left click on Properties you will see that jpg isn't on there. Hal

We've got one of those on our Fox 3000. Works pretty good, but I don't like pulling full loads down the road with it. Just don't trust it, even though I've done it a few times.

Just put a key in the hitch pin on the wagon and you're good to go, and you don't have to look for the pin as sometimes it can take a funny bounce and be a ways away from the toungue.

Oddly, it does end in jpg, it's just terribly long.

I added a few breaks, or it will make this thread real wide & hard to read.... It's nice to use a good subject heading so people know what they are reading, and to use a bit shorter picture names so all the different software can digest it. As well, it is 123k, I think pics need to be less than 100k for this site to like them.

So, let's see if I can work it iver a little & get it up in the galleries & visable a little easier. Hey, I think it worked. Not trying to be critical, just trying to get this to show up - it will the old way for some, but won't for others - I've been in that boat before. :)

I've had one on my pull type corn picker, but not anymore. The wagon I was picking into has come un-hitched at least twice...fortunately not on the road...just in the field. But it was worn out, too. a small diameter pin can get thru that opening easily.

I used the all the time when We cut silage. 1 on the cutter and 1 one each hauling tractor. It worked really good on a fast hitch on IHC tractors. Jus let the hitch down and hook up the wagon and go. Never had one unhock. Was a real labor saver.
