Is it snowing up your way. Went out to feed hay down here and it started up snowing again. "They" say that it isn"t supposed to amount to much around here, just a couple inches.

Christopher

Well as of right now yes we have a 6 inch snow as in 6 inches between flakes. 15 minutes ago when I went out the check for hen apples there was nothing so you jinxed me LOL

Yep you jinxed me big big time. I can now see it coming down just looking out the window and 15 minutes ago it was a 6 inch snow. Thanks a lot LOL

Chris, I'm in Rolla and it started snowing lightly about an hour ago. Turned to sleet and just looked outside and is now raining at a pretty good clip on the picnic table on the deck. Guess it will turn to snow as the temp is a little above freezing now. Suppose to snow tonight and tomorrow I guess and looks like we are on the edge of the 2" belt so could either go more or less. Where you located? Hal

What'cha talk'in about?

I was in Rolla earlier this afternoon and talked to my B-I-L just a few minutes ago and it's STILL SUNNY with a few clouds and NOT snowing!

Wrong state Bob - you're chatting with a few folks from Missouri. Haven't had any sun here at all today and all the cattle headed to the barn when the snow started. Several states have a town named Rolla - we are located mid-way between St. Louis, MO and Springfield, MO along I-44. I've never been to North Dakota and it isn't in my winter travel plans even with the sun, Have a great day with all that sun, Hal.

Ya went out at 4:30 and it was raining here. Hope it either stays as rain or turns to snow sure don't want any of that in between stuff called ice

It is all sliced up into steak etc and put back in the freezer. I let them thaw just to the point you can cut them up and then bag them in smaller bags and freeze them. Never seem to have the time to dress them and the slice them all up during season so have to wait till later to do so

Venison is are staple meat here. I make sausage, hamburger, steak jerky and use it for all sorts of meals like stir fry etc. I got 5 deer this year and gave 2 of them away to friends that are hurting for $$. So I have 3 in the freezer. Shoot a nice 9 point buck this year and a couple hours before shooting him I shoot a nice big does and I was in the same stand for both of them just 2 or 3 hours apart

Rich, Looked outside about a hour ago and it is snowing down my way. Still coming down and things are getting covered white again. Saw on news this evening we are in the two to four inch band and think you might be in for up to six inches. Some will come tomorrow I guess so won't be all tonight. Stay warm and toasty, Hal.
