I know there are lots of different types of occupations and industries represented by the many men and women who frequent this site.
The shop I work at has 2 sides, one being foundry tooling and the other being other custom machining applications.
We make trim tooling and the presses for it on our foundry side, and we make all sorts of different things like thermoform molds and tool & die work on the tooling side. Lots of custom and prototyping work, which makes everyday interesting.
Get to see lots of interesting things. Even make the molds for those little plastic fruit cups and similar products. We have one customer who makes the store brand plastic bags and we make all the adapters and extrusions dies for them.
