Parade Day Idea

Our tractor club goes to the nursing home after the parade, and shares with the residents. They like to come out and look, and have their picture taken with their favorite brand.

Thats a great idea .I bet that really makes their day.Great pics.I'm going to try to do a parade ,plow day or something.I think life will pass you by if you don't get involved.Thanks for the pics BlaineF
 
we use to farm 40 acre's across from a nursing home,all the resident's would come out and watch us bale hay.it was the high lite of there day ,pretty awesome.
 
That's cool! A co-worker's car club holds a car show right on the local retirment home property for residents, staff and immediate family. The club also provides a cook out for them. It's part of what they do with proceeds from the other shows they hold during the summer. The residents especially love it!

I kind of stole the idea- was selling tractor raffle tickets in another central MN town and saw their car club do that- brought it up to fellow members to do the same with tractors. We get more out of it than the residents do.
 
We have an annual parade in town and it ends in the Nursing Home parking lot. the residents always enjoy the parade and all the horses, vech. etc.
 
Our tractor club went to 2 of the local nursing homes for last years spring ride and we plan on doing it again this year.
