Hello I am new to this but have viewed alot on this site. I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark figure on my tractor. It was inhierted. It is a 1959 Case 630C casomatic. It is in used condition but runs good. I have paperwork from the university of nebraska that tells me this was the actual test tractor they used in 1961 for testing before being sold here. Does this add value to it? Basically I don"t want to sound stupid but I want to know what to ask and at the same time I would like something more practical like a skidloader. Any help out there would be greatly appriciated. Thanks for reading and considering.Rick in Nebraska

I would think it would be a good one for a serious collector but would not dare say what it is worth.Someone will chime in and give you some idea.Dont give it away either. Hoss

According to the used tractor price guide the 630 COM wasn't made till 1961,it puts a premium value at about $2300.00 if you look on this website for tractor values it might give you a idea also as to price.

Hello,Thanks so much for the reply. What would you like to know ? Sounds like the year is in question - might be a 1961. On the paper it says tested in April of 1961. Do you know a Jeremy from the testing institute? He was suppose to get ahold of me but it"s been a few weeks.

I would say it would at least double the price to a Case collector. There are very few test tractors around as they only used a few to test each year.
The letter that you have is valuable don't let it out of your hands except to go to the new owner. I would have it framed professionally.

Since you inherited the tractor, if you sell it, you will someday deeply regret that you sold it. Keep it. Tom
