I thought that 1010 special posted along with the farmall A was exceptionable. How many 1010 tractors said special on the side I dont think I ever saw one.

Not sure might have to ask some of the other guys about the 1010.On O/T pics whatcha got I like seeing other parts of the country.

Will agree with you on the photos that folks post on the forum.

Probably the only way I'll ever get to see other parts of the country.

We don't venture North of the Red River very often and have only visited two foreign countries - Arkansas and Louisiana.

Hey Larry, Do you know what the difference is between special and non-special? I'd never paid attention until you said that. Toby.

The John Deere 1010 was available in multiple versions. Row Crop (R), Single Row Crop (RS), Row Crop Utility (RU), Orchard (O), Utility (U), and Industrial Wheel (W) in addition to two crawler types. Also a low-cost Special Row Crop Utility (RUS) version was made that was $300 less than regular models. It had only a pan seat and 540 RPM PTO.
