I see down below someone posted about TSC oil on clearence. Anyone use it? We always used shell. Just wonderin how you guys like the TSC oil. Toby

I use it now to replace Hytran and have been for sometime in my Cadet Super for the Hydo and so far no problems. I also use it in my AC5020 to replace 821 but I don"t use that tractor very much. I still use the low ash oil from Cadet even though I"m not sure why I guess because the book says to.

I have used there hydraulic oils before but I will not use there brand of motor oil! I have seen 5 good diesels engines bight the dust because its to thin. Just my opinion. Bandit

I dont use their engine oils. Not really sure about it. I've tried Shell Rotella, Chevron, Exxon, Quaker State, and now Conoco. I haven't been using the Conoco long enough to know if I like it or not. As to engines on tear down, I liked Quaker State HDX the best. 3600 hrs and the engine was spotless. The Shell was the worst, less than 300 hours and their were laready deposits where they shouldnt have been.

I considered using TSC hydraulic fluid but the last time they had it on sale I gave my petroleum jobber a shot at it. He beat them by 50 cents a pail for Marathon and then took another 2.00 a pail off for a full pallet. In all honesty, I would have paid that much more just to buy local but I'll take the discounts if he's giving them.

I use it in lawn mowers, Im not sure if I would dump it in something I want to take care of. It just seems like a cheap oil. I like amsoil, its expensive but from what I seen its worth it.

I wouldn"t hesitate to put TSC oil in a nascar engine before a 500 mile race. It"s probably made by Quaker State or Valvoline for TSC. There are a lot of bad engines and really bad mechanics but motor oil is motor oil. I use Amsoil but only because of the extended oil change intervals. Most of the vehicles around here get whatever is on sale and we are not having any unusual engine failures in anything. There are probably at least 20 engines at our place.
