Prayer for farmers family

Most farmers know that farming is tough and we do if for the love of what we/they do. Father called me tonight to let me know their neighbor committed suicide today. We was out working and got the tractor stuck, and must have been the straw that broke the camels back. He called 911 and told them he was commiting suicide. Unfortunatly, help didn"t arrive in time. He was a hard worker and worked with my brother. they helped each other out all the time. They didn"t know he was that down on things, always seemed to see the good in everything, but we just never know.

Prayers sent.!!!! Hard enough to loose a family member from natural causes but to leave behind those who love you dearly by taking ones own life is truly a tragedy. That act is never forgot
by those left behind and bewiltered as to WHY?

My prayers go out expecially to the family, but also to his friends. The family feels guilt for thinking they might have said or done something to contribute to the cause. Add that to the awful feeling of loss and it's a terrible situation to go through.

My brother-in-law, who was a good friend of mine, took his life when he was having a tough moment on his farm. The lingering guilt the family feels is so tough to get through.Jim
