8N High Crop

I was in a Tractor Supply store today and in the bathroom they had some pictures of some old tractors. There was one of an 8N with what looked like 36 in. wheels and one wheel in front. I have never seen one of these at a show or even a picture of one anywhere else. Anyone know how rare these are and how many were made? Sure was a neat looking little thing.

I have never seen one, but they were made for a specific crop (which escapes me right now). My guess is that they are pretty rare.

Made to use in Sugar Cane. They are very rare. I've only seen pictures of them. Palmer Fossum had on in his collection.

Not sure on the 3wheel rice/cane model Leroy,The 4 wheel Ns on "stilts" were aftermarket conversions,I know...but was under impression the r/c's were Ford built,or dealer assembled w/Ford "kit".

If you ever see one like that for sale be sure to let B&D on here know. I am sure he would love to have a narrow front 8N with tall tires.
