God,don't remind me. I'm starring down the barrel of my 44th spring in the field. The winters ain't long ENOUGH anymore.

Sounds like were supposed to get pounded with rain tonight. Hardly any snow left in central NY. Spring might have already come.

At this point, you should be making it a pleasurable experience..!

It should be like S-e-x....

If you arent enjoying it, you aint DOING it right..!!

You know,I enjoyed it more when I was a young man sitting out on an Oliver 77,day in and day out, more than I do now in the air conditioned cab with the stereo going. If I could make a good living farming 80 acres with a "like new" Oliver 660 or some such thing,I think I WOULD enjoy it again. Anymore it's just going through the motions of what I HAVE to do to make a living. Amazing how I would have given my left you know what back then to have what I've got now. It's like they say,be careful what you wish for,you just might get it.

Man , you got that right. seems like they go by here every twenty minutes when it starts snowing, dragging the plow on the bare road. Then when there's 6" of snow they can't be found.

Do you want the job. I just got home from scraping off the roads so you guys can be safe.I would like to see half of you people that whine all the time get out their and do my job. Just what we wanted to do an a Sunday. And for your information the sheriff's dept call the highway dept. and tells them when the roads are slippery.

I'll say thanks. They should drive a month in your shoes sometime. Nothing like all the cars stuck in a drift and left in the middle of the roads.......

that plow driver must be related to this towns plow driver, all i have ever seen him do is drive up and down the streets wearing out the tire chains and the blade pushing nothing but air.

You complianers really should try hitting a big snow drift at 55 in one of those things.
That would change your mind about plow drivers.
I have commuted 65 miles one way to work for 35 years on a 2 lane state road. Some years when the guys are new it sucks, but on average they do a great job when their bosses let them decide when to put down chemical and when to plow

Aint it the Truth...!!!

I have never had a tractor with a cab and a heat-houser is about useless on a JD 2-cylinder..!!
They don't make enough heat to even warm themselves..!
I cab sounds down-right Nice..!!
How many and what kind of animals do ya have..?
I know of 3 grown ex-pet Goats, looking for a home (not mine)..!!!
I have to wonder...was it hard to stay awake on the Oliver tractors..?
I never had any problem on the JD 2-cylinders, but the WD-45 AC would make your mind Numb after 5 or 6 hours of the exhaust never changing sound,,,
Had to get off and walk around a minute or 2 to get my system going..!!
Always thought the Olivers sounded almost "too smooth" (excepting the Super 99..!!)..
