Well thought I would look for the smaller size tractors to add to the collection.I know about the LA series but whats in between? J.D. LA --,--,--,--,--,--,--,--,--,--,-- A,B,60 I already have?Looking for something a little different from what I already have. Green please might go with a different color if it catches my fancy. Thanks Blaine

There is a number of them but some are hard to find. The H is one as is the 40 and 420 and I also think there was a 320 which is also one of the small ones but as I said some are hard to find. Of course there is also the new ones like the M and MT

if there running right they really don't pop I have never known why people call John Deere Tractors poppers popping johnies or any thing except their real name

I think the H is a nice addition to any collection.I've had my eye on one sitting in the weeds for a couple of years but have not approached the owner yet. It was in a fire by the looks of it.

its more of a puff, puff, than pop pop. and the m is older than the 20 series. if your talkin horizontal cyls. the H would be the winner.

I think the little "H" would be the perfect compliment to the others you have , especially since it has the horozontal engine and hand clutch. Looks like a miniature "B". Personally , I don't care much for the verticle engine/foot clutch models. The H , B and A sitting beside each other make a nice "stair step" set.

The M is a smaller JD tractor; "Sparky" makes a good little lawn mower.

</a>

The MT is another small JD tractor.

We use <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlcFC8Di37s">"Sam"</a> to rake and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH4xP5gw95Y">"Rusty"</a> will be used to mow our pasture in Hutchins, TX near Dallas.

I have my 1950 JD MT for sale. 4 new tires and professional paint job with new decals. It is stored in an enclosed shed. I am located near Salian KS and have one too many toys.

I read all these replys I vote you go look for an H !! Knowing how many projects you have, and how many tractors you have I still say its agreat idea lol

62 forerunner of the unstyled L from mid 30's, only a 100-200 of them ever made, very rare. Followed the Y that there is no known models left in existance.

H an LA are very close to the same size power wise. Then comes the unstyled B, followed by the M-MT, 320, 330 and then the 39-46 all fuel B and the 40 are very close together in power, then the late gas B and then the 420, 430
