Maybe You've seen It

I know this site is for older Tractors but im desperate to find this 1971 John Deere 4620. It sold on Jim Donovan's Farm Sale August 26,2000 in Heyworth Illinois, I am really curious what happend to this tractor. It had the name "Denny" pinstripped on the front of it like in the picture. I just would really like to know where the tractor went. If any of you guys know or have seen the tractor please let me know. Finders Fee available.

Now thats a nice looking Deere.Hope you find it.

Just a few suggestions that you've probably done already.

Family tractor? Look for the sales receipt from the auction. I still have the one from my folks sale in 1965. Mom kept it.

Put an ad in the local shopper from that area.

Ask the neighbors. Sometimes you will get lucky and one on them will remember who got it.

Go down to the local hangout for the old famers where they drink coffee. You can't believe the wealth of information they can come up with. They go to a lot of sales. Hang a picture of it up on the bulletin board in the restaurant.

Ten years is not that long ago. There's surely someone that remembers where it went.

Good luck finding it. Its a dandy.

wow. thats mighty fancy. I reckon you should have no problem finding it. Thats one deere no one will forget. I'd also ask others that might know.

First go the local library where the tractor was sold and look up the newspaper on or just before that date to find the sale bill with the auctioneers and clerk listed then contact them to find who purchased it. You may be in luck since it's been less than 10 years. I kinda did the same thing however it was 35years after the fact and all the parties had passed on good luck!
