Right place at the right time...

Got a hedge that was in bad need of a revitalizing haircut. Asked on here about hedge trimmers and started looking for what was advised. Today I was out fooling with the horses and the county guy came aroud trimming roadsides with a big sicklemower looking cutter that was taking out 4 inch trees. Had a little visit and a snort or two of schnaps (I keep a bottle at each place) and he followed me home and made about a 5 minute job of the hedge. I can scale back on the trimmer now or just use one of the two electric ones I have.

There's an old saying "you catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar". You just substituted snapps for honey!

Amazing how that works!! That's happened to me a couple of times. Handy to keep some things around.

Come to think of it, it's homemade hooch from the Russian guy up the street. Among other things, it is made with honey and walnuts.. Gooooooood stuff and right at 100 proof.
