Any updates on bigger Kubota's coming?

I asked before, but didn"t know if anyone heard any up to date news on bigger Kubota"s coming to market. Thought before someone said there might be a 180 hp or bigger coming sometime. Just wondering. I like my 125, I use it at our business, plus planting beans with this set up, rotary hoe"ing, etc. It"s not big enough for heavier field work, but great on fuel and works well for a "small time" farmer.

The biggest one currently available is the M135X with a 4 cyl 374 cu in 135eng/118pto hp. If any bigger ones are coming they haven't annouced it on their webpages but a good place to watch might be the upcoming National Farm Machinery Show at Louisville in February. That is one beautiful tractor you have there.

I got to thinking about those this morning. Starting to conclude that you might as well have a Kubota and know what it is than to pay for something that says John Deere on it and end up with a Yanmar,Same,Mitsubishi,Taco Bell,or what ever.

Thanks. Sometimes there's a few dealers on here that might hear the upcoming models coming. I think the 135 has the same engine that's in mine? Maybe they just turned it up some more, I think it's an inline five though. I had a M105 with a tiny turbo four cylinder. It had about no torque. That motor was wound tight to make 105 hp. I hear this 125 is made/put together in Georgia, but don't know to what extent. If you haven't seen them, this tractor has the same amount or more features than a JD or similar. Not a bad tractor in my little opinion. I think if they made it heavy enough, a higher horsepower tractor could make it.

I heard from a dealer friend of mine they were gonna maybe do a 150 this year. I had an M105X, I currently have an M9580, an M6040, an RTV900, and a ZD21. I sure like them all.

They dropped the 5 cyl engine and went to all 4s. The M135X has 374 cu in 4 rated at 2600 RPM and your M125X has 356 cu in 5 rated at 2400 RPM. The new 4s are cleaner for future emission requirements but your 5 is a lot smoother.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll take my smoother 5 cylinder. Seems to have plenty oomph for the planter. If I have to chisel or disc and the other tractors are busy, I'll just have to pull the 2255 out again!
