john deere 4020

hello, a buddy of mine has a deere 4020 and a while back when steel was high some of his things were stolen. one of then was a front pto pulley, i dont know much about the 4020 but its used to run the sickle bar and all that. ive been looking for one for him for a very long time and it seems like they dont exist. does anyone have one or know where i can get one, or have more information about this part? any help would be great

Probably could make one up with a weld on pulley and hub. Shoup has them. shoupparts.com

Go to an industrial "bearings and drives" type of place.

You can get a cast iron "Browning" pulley with a matching tapered hub to fit the 21 spline front PTO shaft.

Or, call Baum Hydraulics in Omaha. They can fix you up for sure.

I thought only the 4010 had front pto??????????

20 series did as well- ran the sprayer pump for the saddle tanks on the 3020 with mine. It is 1000rpm only.

Its not a 4020 part, but a side mounted sickle part.

They are there but different. On the 4010 the front and rear ptos are the same speed, set by the stub shaft. On the later tractors the front pto is always 1000 RPM speed ratio, doesn't change when changing the stub shaft.
