3588 2+2

Need help getting the cab heater to work on my 2+2 3588. The coolant does not seem to circulate and I know all hoses are new and valve on heater core has been removed to be sure of no restriction. Seems I do not have enough pressure off the engine.

Please help.

Is the core blocked? Or perhaps it is airlocked.

sounds like you have a air lock to me. Loosen the return hose and see if you can get air out.

I had a similar problem with my 1486 a couple years ago. I had a bunch of crud in the heater control valves on the engine and the heater hose fittings. Like the other guys said too it could be air locked

I had the same problem on a loader. I had to prime the heater core with coolant.
