JRFrye what happened with the deer meat?

I was courious to hear what your friend had to say about the deer meat. I left some info on your post about grinding the deer meat but I might have left it too late for you , let me know what happend ?

I did ask him and he told me to talk to the guy that gave him the deer meat. so i did and his answer was he was gut shot and they tracked for 3 hours, What can you say. No no the meat is no good.
I then asked what he shot the deer with. I cant tell you that because my son hunt with one SHHHHHHH
they call it a bow. I use a 20 gage and there is no tracking. Need i say any more.

I am glad you investigated where it came from. Iam also glad you grind your own deer meat. the reason is , when you send your deer to get it butcherd they might grind all the chopped meat at one time and you do not what you are getting.
