the napa number for my 06 duramax has always been number 3910.i stopped in today to get another one i always keep a spare in the truck.the brings out a number 3960 i told him its not the right filter he double checks and says the number has been changed.i got home and compared it to the one i just took off earlier and there is some difference in the 2 filters anyone else noticed this recently thanks RICK

Carquest has done the same thing.New number also they have changed the air filter.Probably getting them from china like everything else.

I gave up on napa "no auto parts available" it alwayse ends up three trips one to fetch the parts one to exchange the wrong part and one trip to oreillys for the correct parts

If my truck broke down in front of a NAPA store I would walk a mile to get parts some where else and carry them back no matter how heavy they were. They shut down the RAYLOC plant here over a year ago, said Mexicans could rebuild stuff better. I know they all do it but NAPA hit close to home.

I put one on my Duramax a few weeks ago. The filter is all plastic. It is a Wix made filter so it should meet the GM requirements. Don't think I will be buying another one, will go back to a Delco filter.

I know GM changed the filter a while back. They had a recall on my oi duramax truck and all they
did was change the fuel filter.I've got a box of the old ones i can't use now. They also extended the injector warranty to 200000 miles.

Right the other way around in these parts.
NAPA is the only place with experienced counter people and good service. O,rileys, & AutoZone
both have only the cheap china fast moving parts,
They cater to the Saturday gu that wants a cheap starter..Diffrent strokes for diffrent folks.
