D17 front mounted plow

Has anyone seen a D17 front mounted snow plow lately? I saw a Craig"slist one for a Western but I couldn"t see how it mounted on a D17. Are they worth having? Do I have to build the frame myself and then buy a blade? Currently I own a rear mounted blade on a 3 pt hitch conversion I beefed up.

I have a professionally built vee plow that replaces the bucket on the loader on my H Farmall by pulling three pins. Have no idea who made it. My father-in-law had it, and the tractor, already back in the '60's when my wife and I first started dating.

It's probably a reasonable assumption that the same option is available for most any tractor out there, just take some digging to find it.

Actually, I haven't used it for years. It's a whole lot more comfortable sitting in a 4wd pickup with a plow on it.

I built brackets to mount a front plow on an AC 180 in an afternoon. Not hard to do. Worked really well.
