Is it worth even an attempt to repair high pressure side line with rubber hose and clamps?
Its just a field truck, cant imagine trying to get those old fittings off way down in there.

Also did get the 4x4 working.Had the springs mixed up,one with more tension was in the hub, which belongs in the selector switch.

Thanks for all the help.

NOT a chance for the hose clamps. The first time the a chuckhole or whatever jerks the steering or the driver turns the wheel against the stop at one side or the other likely they will blow off.

A hydraulic shop can make you up a new hose with high pressure ferrule fittings that will attach to the "stub fittings" from the old hose after you cut them off near the old crimps.

God must have decided to stop in my garage.I got line off at the fittings.
Thanks for the help.

Yeah I couldnt believe it,Car Quest has a custom fit one for 21 bucks.
Thought I was gonna have to go see Henry Fords shop and pay some astronomical price.
