How do you bleed a clutch master cylinder? Also how do you bleed the slave cylinder? the pickup is a 04 dodge 3/4 ton with a cummins diesel. Thanks for any help.

Believe it or not,Chrysler doesn't give a bleed procedure for the hydraulic clutch system.They want you to replace the slave and master as an assembly already filled.
The best way I found to bleed any hydraulic clutch is to take out the rubber seal from filler cap,fill reservoir to top and shoot a LITTLE compressed air in the tiny hole at top of filler cap as someone opens the bleeder down below.You have to be quick or you run out of fluid.Don't forget to replace seal.Takes a little practice.

I just ordered the set and installed it in my '01, back in the fall. Ordered it off Ebay from a Dodge dealer for 200 dollars, took about an hour to install.. Onetime quick connector, Pre-filled with fluid, no bleeding..

I have used the one man brake bleeder on hydrualic cluthes. It is the little hand vacum pump that also uses the little cup with the hose on it. I just hook it up to the bleeder and pump a vacum on it and then open the bleeder. It sucks the air and fluid out. It took several times to get it right but worked. Couldnt get it any other way.

I use a squirt oil can, put a hose from the can to the bleeder and pump til fluid comes out master cylinder. Only way I could ever bleed a Ford.
Had a ranger I couldnt get bled by gravity, vacuum on the bleeder, or pumping the pedal and opening bleeder. Mechanic friend suggested vacuum to the resevoir. Pulled the rubber seal out and put the pointy end of the vacuum pump in the breather hole of the cap. Pumped it down and it "burped" some air up. The clutch worked like a charm. Would suggest you use a standard method to get it close and get the last bit by putting vac to the resevoir.
