Pushing snow again today with the old pickup. Maintainer left that nice bank behind the truck, so the drifts will be even higher next time. We're supposed to get clobbered again after the warm up next week.

I'm still trying to dig my mom's place out in town from the last storm, lot of shovel work. Think I've seen a truck like that aound here, Were are you located? I live a few minutes west of Des Moines.

Finally a plow truck uglier than mine. At least mines a solid color. ha :lol:

Mines an 86 1/2 ton chevy that I finally patched the floors because I was tired snow coming in under my feet. :lol:

hey you stole my plow tr.! got a 3/4 ton 75 with 4cly. isuz turbo diesel. 350 t.h. tran. get 15 m.p.g. plowing will try to post a pic tomorow.live in n.w. pa.

I'm up in Albion.

I don't take it to DSM cause I'd have to stop for gas a couple times. 400SB with Edlebrock 4bbl. I don't know what the mileage would be but wouldn't be suprized if it was 5 mpg. Low Low is so slow you can get out and open the gate, anything above 60 and she's screaming. She does sound pretty when you get into it tho. And boy will she dig in in 4 lock.

I need to find a couple new front fenders and patch the rockers. The rust seems to have really took hold this past year or two. Getting a bit drafty these -10 days.

Please do post pic, esp. of the engine. Was that Izusu a transplant or did they come from factory? I hate to admit it but that Izusu engine is about the longest life motor I've ever seen anyoone build. Had two small pickups over the years and never laid a wrench on the engine in either of them. Rest of the truck fell apart tho. Frames rusted out, wiring was terrible, interior fell apart, every moveable part on the body broke, but that engine was as tight at 200k as new.

tranplant from 1 ton box tr.160000 miles on it and the doors fell off due to rust both of them. I got the whole truck for 300.00 took 1 month and 700.00 to put in 75 chevy, only thing that fit was top rad. hose. been running it for 4 or 5 years now had to replace the flywheel past spring one of the 3 toque convertor bolts fell out, then the flywheel cracked.

Nice truck, 3/4or1/2 ton? Auto? What engine? No rust? I have a 73 GMC, 84 K20 Chevrolet and a rv 3500 1 ton dually dump rack, all 4wd.I like these trucks, Thanks for the pic.
