JDB, it"s an 8" Loftness and yes, you know it"s there when the snow is deep but the 630 handles it pretty well. We are in day two of a blizzard right now and I gotta tell ya there is one heck of a lot of snow out there. We have some drifts over 16 feet and many nearly 100" long. We are coming off the snowyest December on record and the new year"s not starting out too good. Oh well, we get what we get. I"ll send a pic taken yesterday before this all started

I'm just south of Omaha NE and know what you mean about snow. We are getting ready to hunker down for a cold friday night. Forcast calls for -24 below. Brrr. Thanks for sharing your pictures, I enjoyed them. Keep warm and stay safe

No problem - just move the horses out of the barn and convert a couple of stalls into a tractor shed.

Let us know how that works out.

James,
Last I heard, their horses were snowbirding down in Texas!
That's my story and if you don't believe ask the glennster

James, it"s a 630. I am the 3rd owner. Never really worked too hard. Pretty nice old tractor, widefront, fenders, floatride seat, 3pt and dual hydraulic. Snow blower helps clean out the carbon from loafing around the rest of the year.

Feet is' and inches is". My old neighbor had a blower than had a straight pto shaft with a blade on it to break up the snow and then a big blower wheel to throw it. I was thinking of making one like it. His you drove forward. I'd make mine so you went backwards to use it. The neighbor had no problem going through deep snow because he had an LCG Ford tractor with big wide turf tires and really good studded tire chains on it. Dave

Hey, Jim- You really expect that tractor to treat you nice at the pulls when you're so mean to it? You better kiss and make up by spring!

Would like to see more pics of the 630 with the blower on back. That's an unusual combination. I always wondered how a two cylinder Deere would handle a blower. Got any pics of it in action?
