If I understand your first question, yes they had a non grove 60 orchard, it was called the low seat 60 standard. Other than having duplex carburation and live PTO it is identical to a 52 AR. Then they made the 60 orchard which could be ordered with any combination of the available orchard sheetmetal and downswept exhaust. And no, the serial number tag will not bear any indication it is anything special, they were numbered right along with the 60 rowcrops.

Styled AR's had live hydraulics.60 low seat offered duplex, live hydraulics and optional live pto . No rockshaft on a low seat 60.

are we agreeing or did I miss something? The only difference between a late AO/AR and the 60 O is duplex carb and live pto. Although, people can be tricked, my AO has duplex carb, essentially its engine is a 60.

I should have said" both the styled AR and the low seat 60 had live hydraulics.
My grandfather had AR's prior to his low seat 60. The live hydraulics back then on the plough and cultivator was the talk of the community.
Same big deal back then with the live pto on the 60 for baling, cutting and conditioning hay, running the corn picker, potato digger etc.

Does it also have the "orchard" intake on it? The little shroud on top of the hood, not a stack.
