Allen in NE - Grapple

Hey Allen, is that grapple plumbed into your bucket cylinders somehow or is the postion of the picture in your post below just make it look that way?

I only got two valves on the 706 and would like to add a grapple to my WL40 bucket. Too cheap to spring for the valve body, looking for a clever way to plumb into what I have.

In order for a bucket and grapple to work good you need to be able to operate them together. You are not going to be happy with it unless you have 3 valves.

Hi Doug,

I use the Fasse electric over hydraulic splitter and have two tractors set up this way. Darned things work pretty slick.

Well if you were to plumb a couple of diverter valves in you could just push or pull them to switch the circuit from bucket to grapple. That would be one option the other would be a flow control done by pressure. Where the bucket lever would be held till the grapple does it"s thing after the bucket is in place and of course it would be the same in reverse ot dump it.
