Really cute Massy

Somewhere I have a picture of a tiny tractor made by Massy Harris. Smaller than the Pony, which I thought was the smallest. Picture shows a guy kneeling down along side it.

I'll have to see if I can find that picture and what model that was. The cutest tiny tractor I've ever seen. I'll get back here with the info if I can find the picture.

Is the Pony the smallest model ever made by Massy Harris? Maybe this one was special made.

As they say: "I stand corrected!"

Not a Massy Harris at all. Found the picture and it's in the Sept 10, 2008 issue of Farm World.

It's a Cockshutt ! Model 20. Cutest tractor I've ever seen. Shows a guy down on one knee looking at it. His head is higher than the highest part of the tractor. This was at the "show" in London, Ohio. Anybody here see it in person?

Wonder how rare they are and what they now would sell for--in reasonable condition?

There are some threads from time to time on the Oliver Cockshutt section of this site- one about 3 pages ago, a nice one in Nova Scotia for $3,000, probably a bargain for the condition.

I don't remember them as being "tiny"- about the size of a Farmall A- bigger than a Cub.

Not built by MH, but still kinda neat.

I looked at a couple of my tractor books and they are talking 26-30 hp for the model 20 Cockshutt. This tractor is way too small for that so it's gotta be a very professional scaled down version of the model 20. The "proportions" are so accurate is much of what's so attractive about this very small tractor.

Expect and hope someone here knows about this specific tractor and can fill us in on some of the details. Hopefully some in this group have back copies of Farm World so they can enjoy this picture as much as I do.
