Ok so the water one can be fun so how about this one. Which is heavier a ton of feathers or a ton of gold and again why is which one the heavy one

If 2 guys the same age, weight, body fat, fitness level, and have just ate the same meal set down with 3 bottles of boones farm, and a pint of Jim Beam. Drink them all in 1 hour, which one will be drunker faster????

both the same they are a ton however there will be more feathers in a ton than gold lol

i know this one!!!! feathers are heavier, gold is measured in troy weight, 12 ounces to the pound. feathers are measured in Avoirdupois measures, 16 ounces to the pound.

Long UK ton, US ton, or metric ton?

An ounce of gold is heavier then an ounce of feathers.

But, a pound of gold is lighter then a pound of feathers.

That because gold uses a Troy ounce, and a Troy pound only uses 12 Troy ounces.

A ton is a ton, regardless of what the load is. might take more feathers to MAKE a ton, but the total weight is the same.

A troy ounce is bigger (12 troy ounces per pound)than a regular ounce(16 ounces per pound) but a pound is a pound.

Last week or so of the month when everyone's rations were used up, we'd put a garbage bag and a bag of ice and a couple gallons of kool aid in a garbage can and do a police call through all the barracks to gather up everything with an alcohol content. Dump it in, cut up some citrus and pineapple, dump in some non rationed Korean rotgut, and dip it out with dixie cups. Called it hairy buffalo back home with everything people could steal from mom & dad and some cheep clear stuff and hawain punch.
