Another International this time a 1046.

This is a International 1046 with a 6 cylinder german built engine which I restored a few years ago. These had around 105 hp and change on the go gears. There was also a 4x4 version available from around the early 1970's. I think this was the same engine as you had in some US models, they make a fantastic sound when working.

Beautiful tractor, even if it isn"t my color.
Is the exhaust pipe a little restrictive, or is it just an illusion? Anyway, good looking tractor.

Hi BILL. LIke Dave 2 would describe it (Another UGLY TRACTOR that he would be willing to take it off your hands so you wouldn't be embarassed.LOL
You should be proud of the effort you put into making it such a beautifull tractor. KEEP IT!!.
Would hate to think it would go to someone who would beat it to death without remorse, Leave it out in bad weather, never wash it, wouldnt replace worn parts, just cobble it till there is nothing left to salvage.YOU DID A SWELL JOB

I had the german 310 diesel in my 706. It would run alot quiter then Oliver or Ford engines. And ya,it sounded good under load.
