Massey 880 Plough

The length and width will depend on several factors: How many bottoms, The width of cut, and possibly the way that it is hooked to the tractor.
 
Obviously I wasn't thinking too well when I posted this, I was hoping for a 6 bottom model. I dont actually know much about these only what I have seen in pictures here on the internet as we dont have these models in Scotland.

My 880 is a 5 bottom semi-mount, hydraulic reset, and if you want the dimensions I will measure it for you. We should be able to estimate what a 6 would be.
I have found one that is the same except it is 6 bottoms (the ad says 5 bottoms but I count 6) so poke the link to see if this is the type you have in mind. If you are going to do an on-land-hitch, then all bets are off since they have a wheel on the RH front.

Yes that looks like what I would want, wheel in the furrow is what we are used to here in Scotland. Looks like my MF 1150 or 1155 would manage this fine. It also looks as if it would dismantle fairly well. Dimensions would be great but I dont want to spoil your celebration break. Been snowing here for the last few days so not a time you want to be out measuring ploughs, hope the weather is much better with you.

Weather? I live in Iowa and we are getting rain, freezing rain, and snow. We have about 12 inches of snow on the ground (300mm) from the last storm, don't know how much we will get from this one.

I'll measure mine when I get a chance.

In a heavy loam soil we pulled a 6-16's 880 all day long with both a 1130 or 1155. We upgraded to a 6-18's and had a tough time pulling it with the 1155, 1130 said no way. With the 1155 the motor could hack it but could not hold it at the ground. Both plow's were semi-mounted. Nice plow and hope you get a nice one back acrossed the pond.
