I bought a new Sears Blowhard battery for my 1979 Harley. Motorcycle batteries from Sears have only have a 6 month warranty. The battery dies at 5 months. Take the battery back to Sears and tell the kid I need a new one, he gets all excited and gets his paperwork out and starts writing. I tell him I have one more month warranty left and he gets all ------ off, throws his clipboard down, and stomps off into the back room. I don t see him for about 20 minutes and I say wtfigo! He says he really should t honor the warranty but he d "let it go this time". What crap! I also had a 1972 Chevy C20 that I put a Blowhard battery into. It only lasted about a year. They replaced it no problem and it lasted about another year. This time I take it back, and they say I must an electrical problem, the same people! I told them to put the truck on the diagnostic machine because they said the alternator had to be overcharging. It wasn t so they had to give me a third battery in about 3 years, and they weren t happy. They were out of stock of the regular Diehards, so they gave me a Diehard Gold and this solved my problem. That battery lasted 6 years.
