Massey Ferguson 880 Plough

I was thinking about getting a MF 880 5 or 6 bottom plough for my MF 1150 or 1155. This will need to be dismantled to go into a shipping container along with some tractors. My question is can these ploughs be dismantled into comparitively small parts (could these be placed under say a MF 1130)or do they come in big castings? How long might it take one guy to dismantle one of these? One final question what should I expect to pay for one of these straight from a farm. Any other advice you can offer would be great.
Thanks
Bill

Cheap less than $1500. We have a 7-16 and it will disassemble but you are still stuck with the long backbone. I haven't really looked at it for six or seven or so years, but sure it doesn't have an assembled joint in the middle. But it should fit lengthways in the container between the tractor tires. Perfect choice for an 1150 or 1155, and if it will ship I would go with a 6 bottom.

About 5 years ago I gave $200 for a 5 bottom 880 semi-mount with hydraulic reset. With the hyd reset, you need a closed center system or the accumulator attachment to keep the reset cylinders under pressure. It should fit under and round the 1150 if completly disassembled.

I still have it and still use it. I need to replace a coulter hub as the bearings went out, fell off, and the darned thing got plowed under.

Very few MF 1130 in the UK so no never seen one here and never come across one while visiting Canada or the US. In general we dont use narrow front tractors over here and the only ones which I know of have been imported.
