Sediment Bowl Assy Screens

I just soldered up some verticle brass screens for 3 sediment bowl assemblys. How do I fasten them to the pot metal stub that sticks up in the tank? JB weld ? Thanks BB

The store bought ones, just fit snug to the center post.

Thanks J, Mine are not that snug. I may use those little squeeze type 1/2" hose clamps. BB

I put a short copper stand pipe in the assy. You could solder to that.

I use a short piece of plastic tube, stuffed inside- doesn"t need an anchor.

I used some of that thin head bolt tie wire. A wrap or two and twist it tight. Just needs to be tight enough so it doesn't bounce loose driving over rough spots.

Mine is held in place with JB Weld. Been there for several years now.
