Just wondering how much snow some of you are getting tonight?
I'm in North Central Virginia and have about 6 inches on the deck and it's coming down like mad.

we're lookin to get 4-5" by Sunday just started around 11:30 here and supposed to have heavy at times through Sunday 1:24 AM now and ground is just now getting covered

Got 12 inches now. I'm on the south side. 35 miles north of South Boston. Still putting it down. Have folks on my road with health issues. Just got back in from plowing snow off the road again. It's 3:12 am. I'll get a nap now and hit the road again around sun up. Starting to drft a little now.

I'm north of Baltimore, the snow started around midnight and we've got 4" by 4:30.
They say it's not stopping til Sunday morning.

John,

Many years ago I dug a basement and did the
grading for a house on Masemore Rd ,just past the
second bend and almost across from the farm on
the right.

Hi George, Its snowing here in Bel Air have the snowblower gased up and the blade on the tractor.
I think we have about 3 inches so far. Hal

18" on my mountain south of Charlottesville so far, still coming down steady. Weather Service says to get ready for another 12".

Gonna be fine tobogganing here. Driveway's got a 400' fall in its half mile run. Enough curves to make it interesting. Little tractor's got chains and is ready to go. Whoooeeeeee!

Electricity's even still on. Good day to play.

8:55 am update, Davidsonville, MD got about 6 inches, here, blowing and drifting type, so its hard to say ho much actually is down. I'm gonna push a little, soon, with the ASV and 6' blade. Looks bad enough!

Woke up to 4-6" near Gettysburg, PA this morning. Might have another 2-4" on the ground since then. Keeping a path clear from the house to the barn for now. Might not try to move any of it until tomorrow when it stops, see what the afternoon looks like and what the weather guessers say. Looks like a good day to watch movies. Kind of wish college football was on, but have a pro game later.

Went to bed last night, woke up with the same amount of snow on the ground as last night.... We got absolutely nothing yesterday and today... Just light flurries here...

Tim

Norther IL here.... lol

I'm in the Shenandoah Valley - We have probably more than a foot but I have drifts at least three feet deep. I know that isn't much by some standards but we sure don't see snow like this very often. A VDOT truck just went by but before that the only plow I've seen was on the front of a big 4X4 Agco-White. He had that Cummins just bellowing. I hope to get the quad out this evening and try a little drift bustin, but may be too deep for that unless we can get out to the road. The milk truck is supposed to come in the morning so we'll have to dig out at some point.

11:30 Update, Davidsonville, MD, 12 inches on the ground, wet blue and sticky at ground level, a lousy push, will jam snowblowers. Just got back in from about a half mile of clearing, with the ASV and a 6' blade, cold wet and miserable till about 4 fingers of southern comfort, neat, defrosted my fingers. Gonna take a nap and push out again around 4 or 5 pm.

I have about 12 inches in chaptico(southern MD.) Got some sleet and hard snow too. Been pushing it off with the 2-105. Its great to have the cab and bigger tractor, but i miss being able to shift with my left hand.Should have put the chains on the truck last night.

Shenandoah Valley, This morning stuck the tape measure in the ground 22inchs. Shes still coming down pretty hard as i type this. Ill update ya in the morning when its finally supposed to quit.

Yeah, Pete, my last name starts with an A, just like yours starts with a P, if I'm guessin right! Right now, as of 6pm, I'd say we are closer to 2' of snow, and its still snowin. I think I'll wait till tomorrow AM, before I attempt to break out to the state road. It probably won't be clear either!

Yep, you're guessing right. Just checked and I've got about 16". Didn't get the plow and chains on my B so I'm just sitting and watching it pile up. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it going and do some pushing. Took the 4X4 up to Odenton to get some medicine about 3 PM and the roads didn't look like they'd been plowed anywhere but RT.3 and it didn't look too good. Real nasty out there.
Take care and stay safe.
Pete
