I know some of you guys/gals think you have been having a wet year.
Yes we are use to a lot of rain with 60+ inches on a average year but it has been just crazy for us this year. We have had over 22" this month and it is only the 15th. Some schools were closed today because of flooded streets. Sugar cane farmers that can usually cut in the rain are shut down because the tracked cutting machines are getting stuck in the fields. My pasture looks more like a swamp.
Boy we could sure use a nice dry spell.

Radar finally is showing an end to our rains...at least for a day. A cold front will bring back sweaters and jackets for the rest of this week, but it will stall down in the central Gulf as yet another low develops bringing back some showers on Thursday. We are the wettest Dec. ever (22.41") and could become the wettest month ever (Oct. 1937 25.11"). Can you smell the mildew & mold spores yet! Bob Breck
