Ot--- any tv experts ?

We have an LG 42 inch plasma tv and overnight it quit working.We have sound and can change channels,but no picture. Any ideas?

I have a Samsung 50 inch plasma in the shop for the same reason. The techs swapped about four boards and still no pic. Said it looked like the panel was bad. They hinted that a replacement panel cost more than a new set. The panel was replaced once already, in warranty. Fortunately, I had bought the extended warranty. The warranty company is making a decision this week.

Definently not an expert, and probably not related to your problem, but when looking at flat screen TV's I was warned that on a plasma TV it should not be transported so the inner panels could contact each other.

Ot--- any tv experts ?
