1010 sleve liner removal

I need help. I know the 1010 gas John Deere was not a good model. I have one torn down with pistons out and head off.The liner plate won"t come off any ideas. I don"t want to damage it. I have water in oil and suspect the rings under liner plate or gasket under liner plate is causing problem. Head looked good did a valve job and planned head. Please respond if you can help.

Don't believe the nonsense. 1010 is not all that bad. Biggest problem is poor parts support since there's little aftermarket stuff for it.

Sleeve deck is rarely stuck at the bottom where the leaking o-rings are. Tends to be stuck on top where the "second" head gasket is under the deck-plate. You just have to keep working on it carefully. Try putting some bottle jacks under the engine and putting some pressure up against the sleeve bottoms. With that pressure pushing up, keep working on that top plate, heating and prying (carefully).

Be careful because those sleeve will crack at the top plate if you're not careful.

You are right some seals are not made any more So dont remove till you find out. Still looking for parts for one
