AC 440

Friend bought a AC 440 and I am going to Mt. next week to pick it up. Does anyone know how tall these tractors are from ground to top of cab, how wide they are and how long?

Can't help much on the dimensions but the 440 was a brother to the early Steiger Wilcat came down the same line just had a different engine.

You will need a lowboy for it as it is about 11-12 ft tall if it has the big singles like 30.5-32 or such it will be at least 10 ft wide. if it has duals you better see about getting them off if not about 14ft wide. It will weight around 25-30,000 this is not a pickup and goose neck deal.

The tractor I know of is at the NH dealer East of town. You'll get all the help you need. The coffee pot is aways on. Neil
