OT,,Oven(propane)????

My oven stared acting up,day before thanksgiving of course.It wont light or does light but wont relight,very erratic.Now it wont light at all.Its electric ignition.The ignitor is glowing.Did a troubleshoot online,said ignitor should be white hot,mine is dull orange,thinkin I should try this route first.Any oppinions

Had same problem, mine cost a $100+ to repair.
Guess what all the service man did was raplace the igniter.

If you replace that ignitor, don't touch it with your bare hands, the oil will shorten its life, they break easily also.

Place the ignitor for than if that don't do call the service man. The ignitor cost me 30 buck 2 years ago for mine and it works fine now, it was just 2 bolt and a wire plug in. I was told its over 100 buck for the service man to come out and do it.

Had to replace two. Remove yours and get a replacement. DIY and same a bundle
