White 2-105

Hi, I have a White 2-105 that I just had the clutch replaced in about 5 tractor hours ago and now I am having problems shifting it. When I first got it back it was a little sticky now when I put it in gear it grinds almost like I never pushed in the pedal. When I get it in gear it gets stuck in that gear. It doesn't seem to matter which gear it is even reverse. The mechanic that did the clutch said it isn't related to the clutch. What could it be?

It is very likely clutch related no matter what your mechanic says. The input shaft is still spinning if it is grinding, these are a very simple straightforward clutch. It may be as simple as just out of adjustment, or I have seen diaphraqm style clutches do that with a broken diaphram spring. My Oliver did the same thing when the tube that supports the throwout bearing was not installed when the previous owner put a clutch in. Look thru the inspection cover on the bellhousing, you may just see the problem.
 
How much free travel do you have? Was this a new clutch or a rebuilt pressure plate. My neighbor did one and the release levers were not set correctly on the pressure plate.
 
If you tried to adjust the clutch pedal free play
and clutch fingers, I would check part numbers
and make sure you did not accidently get pressure
plate for a fiber clutch.
 
I talked to a White mechanic and he said that it sounded like the throw out bearing shaft was put in backwards, so the forks won't work proper.
The mechanic that replaced the clutch is going to pull it apart again to see what we can see.
Everyone else I talk to says it has to be coming from the clutch. Will let you know how things go.
 
I adjusted the pedal and got nothing new. The clutch and pressure plate came with each other from manufacturer so I don't think that is a problem.
Can you adjust the fingers externally?
