Looks like thats a chevy pickup-head on the front of that thing.. Bad joke, I know. I bet the chevy driver had one of those near death experience moments.

what gets me is these people dont see the combine? i mean come on, the big green [ or any other] combine is not down there hiding in the weeds, its up here in your face guess the same people wonder why they get killed when the cross the train tracks with the train comming they dont see it either

i cant believe the combine was not totaled after hitting a chevy truck haha. just glad no one was hurt.RICK

no offense to him but the guy driving the chevy must feel like an absolute idiot! i mean how do you not see a combine! As another person on here said "its not like the combine was hiding in the weeds". well said.

Some people are allways in one _ell of a hurry, looks like he almost made it there.
We lost a whole car load a couple of months back. I guess they didn't have time to stop at the 4lane highway nor at the yield in the median. Made it across 3 lanes before the semi smeared em. Not the first time so KDOT is thinking of putting up yellow flashing lights on the highway to warn trafic that locals dont know what a stop sign is. Would be cheeper to post signs like the deer crossing ones that say CAUTION IDIOTS NEXT 3 EXITS. Cars entering highway may not stop.

Looks like a 1/4 million dollar 'misjudgement' to me. Saw a similar 'misjudgement' last spring involving a Chevy 2500 like that and a 55 car freight train. The truck in that instance didn't look nearly as good as this one.

It's not always the passenger vehicle who is in the wrong. I suspect that lots of people on here have rolled through stop signs while driving a slow moving vehicle or even a slow accelerating truck because it takes longer to get back up to speed. Dave

I wonder if the chevy driver thought the combine had a stop sign too OR... it looks like the trailer is loaded amd maybe he didn't have enough brakes to stop at the stop sign and got in trouble. he was lucky.
